There is Oscar the grouch, Oscar the award and THEN there is Oscar de la Renta.
What we have here is a very unique segmented necklace designed and signed by Oscar de la Renta. The metallic segments represent bamboo sticks (in my opinion) of various sizes and shapes. Upon closer examination to the verso, I have discovered a multitude of african animals and possibly a human or two. I may be wrong but the general consensus arrives at my conclusion. Each segment measures about 1.5 inches wide x 2 inches tall more or less. They are not uniform in size and are difficult to measure, but you get the idea.
The entire necklace measures 10 inches in length and has a VERY generous 5 Inch extension chain. You cannot go wrong with this one.
Unique? Absolutely. Rare? Possibly. Worth The Money? You decide!
