The United States built it’s first nuclear powered submarine, The Nautilus, in 1954. It was the first submarine to transit submerged under the North Pole! What an achievement!
Clive has purchased another type of nautilus, only this time it’s fashioned into a very dramatic piece of jewelry in the form of a pendant. This pendant features a 4 inch x 6 inch large sliced nautilus shell and attached to this shell is a 4.5 inch X 2.5 inch large cluster and spray of white rhinestone crystals resembling seaweed and possibly an Octopus all spread out on the bottom of the shell.
The shell is supported by nine matching agate round stones and then accented with various other decorative rondelles and beads. The total length of this pendant is approximately 13 inches The necklace is supported by a hefty Lobster claw clasp.
Once again, Clive feels this pendant was created for a high fashion design runway show. Clive cautions that this pendant is not for a physically challenged individual as it does carry some weight.
So, is this pendant unique and makes a statement ?
