Clive’s Unique Jewelry is proud to offer from his personal collection this extremely rare frosted glass & crystal necklace designed and created by William deLillo.  Mr. deLillo worked at Cartier, Harry Winston and Miriam Haskell before starting his own Co. William deLillo LLC in New York City in about 1968.  In Mr. deLillo’s later years Clive met him at a show in New York City and a friendship was formed for many years after that chance meeting.  Clive, however, purchased this necklace in Paris in the 1980’s and would display it occasionally at antique shows.  Mr. deLillo informed me that the necklace was made in the 1970’s and came in three colors…..black frosted, green frosted and white frosted glass which you see here.  This demi parure consists of 13 segments of white frosted iceberg glass each bordered by one row of white Rhinestones. Eleven of the frosted glass segments suspend a  multi strand cluster of round faceted and teardrop crystals.   The matching clip on earrings compliment the frosted glass segments. The necklace is about 12 inches long and has a 2.5 inch extension chain.  The deLillo metal hallmark appears on one of the earrings .  Unfortunately William deLillo passed away a while back but his magnificent creations live on.  This necklace represents what Clive’s Unique Jewelry is all about.
